Solutions / API security

APIs are the part of your product you cannot hide.

APIs expose business logic directly. Authentication gaps, broken object-level authorisation and excessive data exposure are common and often invisible from the UI.

We review how your interfaces authenticate callers, enforce authorisation and handle data — then help you verify that the fixes hold.

Context

For teams exposing APIs to clients, partners or the public

Any interface reachable by someone you do not fully control is in scope.

  • Public or partner-facing REST and GraphQL APIs
  • Mobile backends and single-page-application APIs
  • Internal APIs exposed through gateways or shared networks
  • Webhook and third-party integration endpoints
What’s included

What API security work includes

Our approach is evidence-led: every control maps to a record you can verify.

  • Authentication and token-handling review
  • Object- and function-level authorisation checks
  • Rate-limiting, enumeration and abuse-resistance review
  • Data-exposure and excessive-response analysis
  • Findings expressed as concrete contract or code changes
Boundaries

Scope and boundaries

Being explicit about what we do not do is what makes the rest trustworthy.

Important

API testing touches live business logic, so it is tightly scoped and rate-limited, with explicit authorisation for every endpoint tested.
Our rules
  • Only endpoints you own and authorise are tested
  • No credential stuffing, brute force or data exfiltration
  • Production testing is rate-limited and interruptible
  • Findings are recorded with minimal, non-sensitive evidence
Process

From discovery to proof.

Each step produces the input for the next, and none is skipped.

  1. 01

    Enumerate

We establish the reachable surface and how requests are trusted.

  2. 02

    Probe

Bounded, authorised tests target authorisation and data-handling flaws.

  3. 03

    Prioritise

Findings are ranked by realistic exploitability and impact.

  4. 04

    Verify

Retests confirm each fix against the original finding.
