Security utilities you can trust to behave.

A small, extensible directory of practical utilities. The first is the Website Security Snapshot — a passive, rate-limited view of externally observable configuration.

First tool

Website Security Snapshot

In development — not yet available

Enter a domain and receive a summary of externally observable security signals. No account, no intrusive probing, and a clear statement of what is and is not being observed.

This tool is not yet runnable; it will be enabled here when ready.

Checks it will perform

TLS certificate

Validity, issuer chain and expiration of the presented certificate.

HTTP security headers

Presence and configuration of response security headers.

HTTPS redirect

Whether plain HTTP is redirected to HTTPS correctly.

Public DNS records

Publicly resolvable records relevant to exposure.

Each future tool follows the same safety rules and is labelled honestly until it is available.

How every public check behaves

These rules are non-negotiable and apply to every tool in this directory.

Boundaries

These tools are not a substitute for a security assessment or a penetration test.
  • Passive and non-intrusive: no exploitation, no flooding, no brute force.
  • Rate-limited, with bounded execution time and no unbounded crawling.
  • Private, loopback, link-local and metadata-service destinations are rejected.
  • DNS resolution and redirect targets are validated before any request is made.
  • A successful request is never presented as proof that a system is secure.
